Giving Opportunities to Support Kansas 4-H

Gifts to the Foundation maintain the traditions of making the best better for Kansas 4-H'ers. Since 1952, the Foundation has delivered premium support to local and state programs thanks to the generosity of many donors and sponsors. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young Kansans.

Gifts of Cash

Cash is the most common way to support Kansas 4-H. Donors may also contribute by clicking here to give online, check or by making a pledge.

Bequests

Bequests can specify a dollar amount, name particular assets or designate the Foundation to receive a percentage, or all, of an estate.

Gift Annuities and
Charitable Trusts

Special opportunities exist which provide the donor a guaranteed income for life in return for a charitable gift to Kansas 4-H.  There are also significant tax benefits from this type of gift.

Life Insurance and Retirement Plans

The Foundation can be named as a beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), life insurance policy or other qualified personal plans.

Memorial and Tribute Opportunities

Special gifts allow donors to establish permanent recognition as a memorial or tribute. A variety of additional recognition opportunities exist throughout all the Foundation’s areas of work.

Gifts of Stock

By making a gift of stock, donors can avoid taxes on the gains. Charitable contribution deductions equal the full fair market value of the stock.

Gifts of Real Estate

A residence, vacation home, farm or vacant lot can be given to help Kansas 4-H'ers. Property gifts can avoid capital gains taxes as well.

Retained Life Estate

Give your home or farm to the Foundation now and retain a life interest in the property so that you can receive a substantial charitable deduction on federal income taxes.

Matching Gifts

Many businesses or corporations will match annual giving or gifts for special projects thus helping double the efforts of your dollar.

Services and In Kind Gifts

Find ways to bring your special talents or unique services to benefit 4-H'ers.

Charitable gifts not only help the work of the Foundation on behalf of Kansas 4’Hers, but can also result in substantial tax savings and provide donors an opportunity to create a legacy for themselves and their families.
