"Rock Springs...fills a void in the development of character and leadership skills..."

Warren Prowl

Rock Springs, with its educational programs and activities fills a void in the development of character and leadership skills in our Kansas youth.

Like so many others - past and present - 4-H and Kansas State University prepared me for an exciting, adventuresome, and fulfilling professional life.

As an Extension "intern" during the summers of 1953 and 1954 I spent several weeks at RSR working with young 4-H'ers. It was a gratifying experience as I observed the growth of their social and leadership skills in such a short time.

RSR has fulfilled it's educational role for over 60 years. Nancy and I are pleased to play a small part in this operation and hope it continues for at least another 60 years.
