"The [volunteer] benefits are far too great to measure."
Volunteers are very much a part of the 4-H Program. As we continue to find ways to strengthen our 4-H Program we see people in our own communities with resources and talents to benefit the 4-H Program. And the 4-H way of "learn by doing" is a great reward for both the volunteer and 4-Her. With youth and adults working together it will benefit the 4-H Program and build opportunities for your community.
The benefits are far too great to measure as the volunteer shares their time and talents in making a difference in the life of a young person.
In working with our youth you can easily see the energy and life that our 4-Hers are ready to learn by doing. What better investment can we do for our communities than volunteering to help make a difference in the lives of our youth.
Step right up and join the 4-H experience as we all "learn by doing" and what greater joy than seeing the development of a youth as they grow and development through all the 4-H opportunities. No matter if a volunteer can give an hour or two there is no better investment than sharing our time and talents with others. We are so very fortunate to have so many resources in our communities and I strongly believe that most of the time it just takes an "ask" to find a volunteer that is ready to get involved with the 4-H Program.
I count my blessings for my experiences through 4-H including new friendships, gaining new opportunities and seeing youth development into quality citizens.
