President/CEO

Mindy joined the Foundation in September 2019 as the chief development officer, and in April 2023 she was promoted to President/CEO. A K-State graduate with more than 25 years of experience in higher education and

“Many of the highlights from my career have included working with families to connect their philanthropic interests with the philanthropic vision for the organization.  I consider myself fortunate to have worked with so many extraordinarily generous individuals who care deeply about advancing the mission of the organization. It’s truly inspiring.” Mindy said.

When asked what she likes best about her job Mindy said, “First and foremost, I enjoy all of the people that I get to meet and interact with.  Listening and learning about meaningful 4-H experiences and their time at Rock Springs Ranch always makes my day.  I, routinely, learn more new parts and pieces of our rich history in Kansas and beyond.  Hands down - my absolute favorite days are when I get to see 4-H youth finding their spark while pursuing a project area, working alongside a caring volunteer and especially watching youth make memories while at summer camp at Rock Springs Ranch.”

When Mindy has a weekend to herself she will likely be found doing one or more of favorite things including working in her flower beds, cooking one of her family's favorite meals, watching her kids participate in one of their many activities, reading a good mystery or biography on her patio, cheering on the K-State Wildcats, planning her next family trip, and likely ending the day with a way-to-complicated craft project.
