Ways to Give

All donations to the Kansas 4-H Foundation are tax deductible according to IRS standards. You can designate your gift for a specific purpose that is important to you, or leave it unrestricted to enhance the 4-H experience for Kansas youth through programs, events or scholarships.

Cash Gifts

In 4-H, we believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us.

Your gift is the most efficient way to invest in Kansas 4-H youth. You can make a cash gift to Kansas 4-H using a credit card through our online giving form or by check. Either way, you can realize tax savings by deducting cash gifts from your taxable income.

Those wishing to direct a gift to recognize, honor and reward individual 4-H members for success and growth may consider giving to the annual Patron Sponsor program.

Planned Giving

4-H empowers young people to be true leaders- young people with confidence, the ability to work well with others, endure through challenges and will stick with a job until it’s done. In 4-H, we believe true leaders aren’t born – they’re grown.

Generous donors helps the Foundation to bring that concept about. Donors maintain complete control over the degree of information shared with the Foundation related to their specific giving plans.

Gift Annuities

Too many of America’s youth are lacking the opportunities that prepare them to lead in life and career. They are missing experiences that grow the life skills they need – like confidence, independence, resilience and compassion.

Donors establishing gift annuities gain the security of guaranteed annual income and the peace of mind that comes with not worrying about investments.

Stocks/Grain/Real Estate

An essential component of 21st century youth development is offering young people experiences where they have the freedom to learn by doing, grow from failure, express their ideas and use their influence to drive positive outcomes.

Gifts of grain, stocks or real estate not only serve as options for those inclined to support 4-H, they also allow tangible tax benefits.

Contact us and we will visit about how other have donated in this way and what many work best for you.
